Job summary

Reaching Beyond Limits Behavioral Health in Hazleton, PA, seeks a Behavioral Technician to provide direct 1:1 support to children and adolescents with autism and mental health needs, guided by a BCBA or LBS. You’ll implement evidence-based ABA strategies, collect data, and help participants build life skills and independence.

Qualifications

• Experience with adults with Intellectual Disabilities preferred but not required.
• RBT training completed within 2 weeks of hire; supervision provided by RBL BH.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 behavior support to children/adolescents (school, home, or day-care).
• Implement individualized treatment plans approved by a BCBA.
• Collaborate with community-based team members including the assigned BCBA/LSB.
• Study relevant records regarding the VIP assigned.
• Teach functional skills: communication, daily living, vocational readiness, and coping strategies.
• Collect accurate data to track progress and guide treatment decisions.
• Assist adults in navigating community, building relationships, and increasing self-advocacy.
