We're looking for a Behavioral Health Technician in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry, based in Lewisville, Texas, United States.

Are you a compassionate caregiver with at least a high school diploma (or GED) residing in Lewisville, TX?

Centria Health is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to work one-on-one with children and families affected by autism. Your responsibilities will include implementing learning programs, collecting data on behaviors, communicating with stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating with your direct supervisor. You will build trust with the child and family in their home, located within 15 minutes of your residence.

Our comprehensive paid training will prepare you to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), guiding their developmental growth and helping them manage challenging behaviors. Under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-on-one developmental and behavioral support in the child's home, adapting techniques to various behaviors and styles.
• Partnering with a BCBA to implement individualized intervention plans, which may involve physical and mental exercises.
• Using evidence-based techniques to engage children in activities, including standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and occasionally carrying children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
