Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for our inpatient detox and residential facility in Aurora, CO. You will manage daily operations, supervise staff, and help maintain a positive recovery environment for residents.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification preferred, and strong leadership with empathetic communication. A recovery-friendly, supportive team culture awaits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character modelling recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations ( Intake, supervision, meals, transportation, medications ).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.

What You'll Do

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred
