Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Indianapolis, IN is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for all shifts at our Detox and Residential facility. Join a supportive team dedicated to compassionate, evidence-based care and a warm recovery environment.

You will manage daily operations, support the BHT team, and help maintain safety and client engagement while upholding all policies. A HS diploma (or GED) and CPR certification are preferred, with sobriety if in recovery encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character modeling recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations ( Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.

Now Hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for all shifts (First: 7am - 3:30 pm, Second: 3pm - 11:30pm, and Third: 11pm - 7:30am) for our Detox and Residential treatment facility, located in Indianapolis, IN.

What You'll Do

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
