Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a hands-on Lead Behavioral Health Technician to manage daily residential operations, supervise staff, and maintain a caring recovery environment in Norfolk, VA. The role focuses on coordinating intake, transportation, meals, and events while training the BHT team to uphold high standards of care.

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
