Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech III to support patients through admission to discharge at our Stamford, CT facility. The role focuses on safety, patient interventions, group-led psychoeducation, and collaboration with clinical teams in daily operations.

The position requires 2+ years in mental health/substance use areas, a valid CT driver’s license, and the ability to assist with meals, transport, and documentation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
• Two+ years of experience in mental health, substance use, or eating disorder field required.
• Valid and unrestricted State Driver’s License required.
• Must obtain CPI within 90 days; CPR/AED/First Aid and Food Handling/Safety certifications within 30 days.

Responsabilidades

• Adheres to all policies and procedures.
• Maintains patient safety and provides interventions as needed.
• Leads psychoeducational groups and supports treatment planning.
• Documents shift notes and essential records by end of shift.
• Performs transportation duties for patients when pre-qualified to drive a company vehicle.
• Assists nursing staff and supports active discharge processes.
• Maintains organized, safe environment and participates in facility checks.
• Attends staff meetings and complete required trainings.
