Job summary

Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program seeks a Behavioral Health Tech II to support patients through admission to discharge, providing safety, interventions, and group facilitation. You will assist nursing staff, track progress, and help implement treatment plans in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent in a related field.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of experience in mental health, substance use, or eating disorder field preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted State Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to DBH policies and procedures.
• Maintains patient safety and supports treatment planning.
• Provides exemplary customer service to all patients and families.
• Facilitates daily groups and assists nursing staff as directed.
• Monitors patient activity and documents shift notes and progress.
• Provides transportation services as needed, including patient transport.
