Job summary

Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program in Fairfield, CT is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech II to support patients through treatment, assist nursing staff, and facilitate daily groups. This on-site role offers a full-time schedule (Thursday–Sunday, 3pm–11pm) with a pay range of $17.00–$25.00 per hour and requires a valid driver’s license.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s or high school diploma and 1+ year experience in mental health settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) preferred
• One or more years experience in mental health, substance use or eating disorder field preferred
• Valid and unrestricted State Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Assists in patient daily needs and supports treatment planning.
• Facilitates daily groups and psychoeducational content.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information and records.
• Completes shift notes and required documentation by end of shift.
• Provides transportation services for patients when pre-qualified to drive a company vehicle.
