Job summary

Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program in Stamford, CT seeks a Behavioral Health Tech III to support patients through admission to discharge. You will help ensure safety, provide interventions, and lead daily psychoeducational groups on-site.

Responsibilities include patient care, documentation, and coordination with nursing staff. The role requires 2+ years of mental health or eating disorder experience, valid local driver’s license, and timely certification in CPI, CPR/AED/First Aid, and Food

Qualifications

• Two or more years experience in mental health, substance use or eating disorder field
• Must obtain CPI certification within 90 days
• Must obtain CPR, AED and First Aid within 30 days
• Must obtain Food Handling/Safety certification within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Assist and support patients through treatment from admission to discharge
• Ensure patient safety and provide interventions
• Lead psychoeducational groups
• Support patient daily needs and documentation
• Provide transportation services with pre-qualified driving
• Attend staff meetings and trainings
• Maintain confidential information and professional boundaries
• Assist in meal supervision for eating disorder division
