Job summary

LifeStream is seeking a Behavioral Tech II in Florida to provide advanced support to individuals with behavioral health needs. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans, facilitate activities, and document client progress.

Required is a high school diploma and at least one year in substance abuse/mental health settings. Expect on-site duties with opportunities for training and professional development, plus LifeStream benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year’s experience in a substance abuse and mental health setting.
• Strong understanding of behavioral health principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation and case notes.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support clients through direct observation and interaction, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Implement and follow individualized care plans and treatment protocols as directed by clinical staff.
• Assist in the development and facilitation of therapeutic activities and group sessions.
• Document client behavior, progress, and any incidents accurately and in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed, following established protocols.
• Support the onboarding and training of new staff members by sharing expertise and knowledge.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and staff by adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of client care strategies.

Job Purpose:- The Behavioral Tech II is responsible for providing advanced support and care to individuals with behavioral health needs. This role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and support to clients.
