Job summary

Bradford Health Services in Louisville, TN seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to support patients with mental health challenges under clinical supervision. You will implement treatment plans, conduct assessments, and help ensure safety and continuity of care in diverse behavioral health settings.

You will de-escalate crises, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized discharge plans. A recent graduate with relevant training is welcomed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Behavioral Health Technician training program or relevant certification preferred.
• Experience in mental health settings with direct patient care.
• Knowledge of clinical documentation standards.
• Understanding of crisis management and intervention techniques.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting clinical assessments and monitor patient behavior to inform treatment plans.
• Provide direct patient care, including daily living activities and therapeutic interventions.
• Implement crisis intervention to manage and de-escalate emergencies.
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation, including progress notes and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to update treatment and discharge plans.
• Support patients with Severe Emotional Disturbance using specialized care strategies.
• Ensure a safe, supportive environment by following protocols.
