Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is expanding and seeks compassionate staff for Baton Rouge, LA. The role involves supporting medical and clinical teams with admissions, transportation, meals, and supervision, while ensuring safety and policy adherence.

You will engage clients, help maintain a welcoming recovery environment, and handle administrative duties, transport duties, and documentation as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1-year experience in treatment industry preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of motor vehicle laws.
• Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.).
• Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment.
• Monitor clients and enforce all policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff.
• Record and escalate any critical communication/incidents in a timely manner.
• Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support).
• Monitor transportation schedule, safely transporting clients for admit, discharge and appointments.
