Avenues Recovery Center in Covington, LA is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for all shifts at the residential facility. You will support admissions, transport, meals, supervision, and daily operations while helping create a compassionate recovery environment.

You will engage clients, monitor safety, and coordinate with medical and clinical teams. Avenues offers a generous benefits package and opportunities to grow in a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year sobriety required.
• Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.
• Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality.
• Dignified character that models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.).
• Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment.
• Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff.
• Record and accelerate any critical communication/ incidents in a timely manner.
• Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.).
