Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Valid Driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety required.
Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.
Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality.
Dignified character that models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams.
Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment.
Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety.
Record and escalate any critical communication or incidents.
Fulfill all administrative duties.

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking to hire Behavioral Health Technicians for our facility in Baton Rouge, LA!

What You'll Do

Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.)
Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment
Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff
Record and escalate any critical communication/ incidents in a timely manner
Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.)

What We're Looking For

High School diploma or GED preferred
