Job summary

Ascension Health in Racine, WI, at All Saints Hospital, seeks a leader for the Behavioral Health department. This day shift, full-time role oversees daily operations, staffing, and care delivery within a multidisciplinary team. You will mentor staff, maintain compliance, and ensure high-quality patient care across shifts.

The position emphasizes teamwork, regulatory adherence, and compassionate clinical leadership in a trusted Catholic health system.

Qualifications

• Licensure/certification/registration required as listed by Wisconsin boards.
• Education: high school diploma or associate/technical degree with experience, or 5 years of applicable experience.
• Experience in behavioral health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the behavioral health program by overseeing daily operations, staffing, and departmental coordination to ensure high-quality patient care and program efficiency.
• Coach and develop the team with ongoing training, feedback, and mentorship to foster a high-performing, supportive culture.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary patient care with the broader healthcare team to meet clinical goals and execute treatment plans.
• Deliver high-quality direct patient care as needed, maintaining compassionate and accurate evaluations during demand peaks.
• Ensure full operational compliance by directing activities in accordance with federal, state, and regulatory standards to protect patient safety.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• One or more of the following required:

• Licensed Clinical Counselor credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Counselor credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Social Worker credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Psychologist credentialed from the Wisconsin Psychology Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
