Job summary

Copper Springs East in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a full-time House Supervisor (RN) to lead the nursing team in a behavioral health setting. The role oversees scheduling, staffing, patient care coordination, and operations in the absence of leadership.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, mentor staff, perform evaluations, and support intake and treatment planning. An RN license, associate degree, CPR and de-escalation training within 30 days are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license required.
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing school required; BSN preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling and staffing for the nursing department, ensure coverage, minimize overtime and agency use, and approve/deny time-off requests.
• Monitor staff attendance and assist with payroll and records.
• Provide backup nursing and intake assistance, respond to patient needs, advocate for patients.
• Supervise hospital operations in leadership absence, coach and educate staff, conduct evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Assist in department meetings and document attendance; prepare meeting minutes.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory standards and ensure compliance.
• Conduct investigations and provide reports as needed.
• Deliver direct patient care as needed and ensure quality documentation for treatment goals.
