Job summary

El Dorado Springs Behavioral Health, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a House Supervisor (RN) to lead the nursing team in our Tucson behavioral health facility. This full-time role covers day shifts with a 3x12 schedule (7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.) and some weekend shifts, focusing on safe patient care and staffing oversight.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license and an associate degree, with psychiatric care experience preferred.

Qualifications

Current state RN license.
Associate degree from an accredited nursing program.
21 years of age or older.
Experience in psychiatric healthcare preferred.
CPR and de-escalation certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Manage scheduling and staffing for the nursing department, ensure coverage and minimize overtime.
Monitor staff attendance and assist payroll with the Director of Nursing.
Provide backup nursing and intake assistance and advocate for patients.
Supervise hospital operations when leadership isn’t present and coach staff.
Conduct staff evaluations and deliver disciplinary actions professionally.
Assist Director of Nursing in department meetings and document attendance.
Provide support to the intake department as needed.
Maintain knowledge of regulatory standards and ensure compliance.
Perform conflict resolution and involve leadership when needed.
Conduct investigations and provide accurate reports.
