Job summary

Woodland Springs Behavioral Health Hospital in Conroe, TX, is seeking a House Supervisor RN for the Night shift. The role oversees nursing operations, staff scheduling, and direct patient care within a behavioral health setting.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate’s degree in nursing, an active RN license, and have experience in psychiatric care or leadership. CPR and de-escalation certifications are required within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing (required).
• Current Registered Nurse license as required by state regulations.
• 1 year experience in a psychiatric health care facility (preferred).
• 1 year leadership/management experience (preferred).
• CPR certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.
• De-escalation certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.

Responsibilities

• Oversees nursing and hospital operations during assigned shifts; supervises staffing and scheduling.
• Provides direct nursing care and supports department managers with education, discipline, and compliance.
• Manage scheduling and staffing for the nursing department; minimize overtime and agency use; approve/deny time-off requests.
• Conduct staff evaluations and deliver disciplinary actions; provide coaching and education.
• Assist director with meetings, minutes, and department communications; support intake as needed.
