Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to behavioral health patients.
• Completes admitting and shift assessments.
• Documents nursing care and follows physician orders.
• Educates patients and families; participates in multidisciplinary plans.
• Ensures safety and monitors environment on the unit.
• Supervises care by LPNs and techs.
