Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program or licensing equivalency.
• BLS HealthCare Provider certification required.
• Registered Nurse license in state of practice (Illinois/Missouri/Oklahoma/Wisconsin) or compact state.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients.
• Complete admitting and shift assessments within policy timelines.
• Monitor patient condition and notify physician of changes.
• Participate in development and evaluation of treatment plans.
• Document nursing care and adhere to standards and policies.
• Educate patients and families; document in EHR.
• Supervise LPNs and techs and act as clinical resource.
• Apply evidence-based practices to patient care.
• Maintain safety and respond to routine duties as assigned.
