Job summary

Banner Health’s Behavioral Health RN role at the South Campus in Tucson, AZ, is a full-time night position (7 PM–7:30 AM) with a rotating weekend schedule. The unit serves involuntary behavioral health patients and requires nursing assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Strong de-escalation and prior BH experience are valued. New graduates with less than 12 months experience are directed to other job postings.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in behavioral health nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and discharge planning needs.
• Plan and implement the plan of care in collaboration with the patient and health team.
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record.
