Job summary

Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center in Sun City West, AZ, is seeking a Part-Time Behavioral Health RN for night shifts in the Behavioral Health Unit.

You will work in psychiatry units focusing on geriatric, dementia, and adult psychiatry, with weekend/holiday rotation and differential pay. Responsibilities include nursing assessment, planning, and coordination of care, with an emphasis on safe patient care and 24/7 crisis support.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related fields or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychological and social domains.
• Develop and implement a plan of care with realistic goals.
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the health care team.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Document care accurately in the patient record.
• Mentor and precept other staff and support ongoing education.
