Qualifications

• RN license required
• BLS CPR certification required
• Acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and revise individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications and self-care strategies.
• Coordinate care with medical staff and ancillary departments to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, care activities and outcomes in the medical record.
• Respond to code situations promptly and provide necessary interventions.
