Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
• 1+ year in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
• Licensure and certification requirements depend on unit/state; consult credential grid.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly evaluate them.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols, monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and maintain communication.
• Document patient information, care activities, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
• Evaluate care plans and interventions to improve patient health outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.
