VNS Health in New York, NY seeks an experienced manager to direct administrative and clinical responsibilities for Behavioral Health Services programs. You will develop solutions using data, research, and collaboration with stakeholders to implement evidence-based care and ensure financial viability.

The role provides leadership in policy development, training, program reporting, and readiness for licensing reviews.

Qualifications

• Registered as a New York Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number required or must be obtained upon hire; management will assist with NPI application.
• Master's Degree in a Human Services field required.
• Five years of progressively responsible managerial/administrative experience in behavioral health or related settings required.
• Three years of OMH/OASAS-certified outpatient program experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintains awareness of regulatory and clinical changes in mental health and/or substance use treatment and translates insights into program improvements.
• Provides clinical and administrative oversight, including staff management, on-site visits, meetings, and reviews.
• Ensures adherence to financial, billing and documentation policies.
• Refines care models using evidence-based practices and reviews program data to guide operations.
• Oversees system readiness for program reviews, licensing, and corrective action plans.
• Acts as liaison to funders and payors and represents the program in meetings.
• Leads training programs and coordination of EMR and reporting for funders.
