Job summary

Devereux New Jersey is seeking a Program Manager in Eatontown, NJ. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and oversee a group home, ensuring high-quality care and program execution for individuals in need.

The role reports to the Program Director and requires onsite leadership, a valid driver’s license, and prior supervisory experience in behavioral health. The salary is competitive, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license (non-provisional) required.
• Attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• One year of supervisory experience in a child/adult behavioral health care agency.
• Two years' experience with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred.
• Be empathetic with a team approach to care for our individuals.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements occupational, recreational, social and other developmental plans for each individual.
• Ensures program facilities are maintained to present Devereux as a good neighbor.
• Supervises staff within assigned programs including hiring, performance management and training compliance.
• Ensures all shifts are adequately covered.
• Oversees planning, implementation and documentation of programs meeting social, emotional, physical and personal needs.
• Plans and participates in group outings for individuals.
• Manages shopping for home necessities (food, clothing, household items).
• Schedules and transports individuals to doctor appointments, shopping trips, and day programs/schools.
