Job summary

Devereux New Jersey is seeking a Program Manager in Glassboro to lead a multidisciplinary team and oversee a group home. The role focuses on developing tailored plans for individuals, coordinating staff, and ensuring quality care within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's in a related field preferred.
• Valid non-provisional driver’s license.
• Attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• One year of supervisory experience in a child/adult behavioral health care agency.
• Two years’ experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting; empathetic, team approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement occupational, recreational, social, and developmental plans for individuals.
• Ensure facilities are maintained and Devereux is presented as a good neighbor.
• Oversee staff within the program, including hiring, performance, attendance, payroll accuracy and training compliance.
• Ensure shifts are adequately covered and programs are documented.
• Supervise group outings and manage shopping for home necessities.
• Schedule and transport individuals to appointments, shopping trips, and day programs.
