Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Glassboro, NJ is seeking a Program Manager to lead our group home operations and oversee staff delivering comprehensive care to individuals with behavioral health needs.

You will ensure program quality, coordinate services and maintain a collaborative, servant-leadership culture across multidisciplinary teams, while driving positive outcomes for those we serve.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required; Bachelor's in related field preferred.
• Valid non-provisional driver's license.
• Attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• One year supervisory experience in a child/adult behavioral health care agency.
• Two years experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred.
• Empathetic and team-oriented care approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement occupational, recreational, social and other developmental plans for individuals in care.
• Ensure facilities are maintained to present Devereux as a good neighbor and welcomed community member.
• Oversee program staff including hiring, performance management, attendance, payroll accuracy and training compliance.
• Ensure all shifts within the program are adequately covered.
• Supervise planning, implementation and documentation of programs meeting social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
• Plan and participate in group outings for individuals.
• Manage shopping for home necessities (food, clothing, household items).
• Schedule and transport individuals to doctor appointments, shopping trips, and day programs/schools.
