Job summary

Devereux New Jersey in Eatontown seeks a Program Manager to lead a group home and work with a multidisciplinary team to support individuals in need. You will supervise staff, plan developmental activities, and coordinate transportation and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's in a related field preferred.
• Valid non-provisional driver's license required.
• Attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• One year of supervisory experience in a child/adult behavioral health care setting.
• Two years' experience with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred.
• Empathetic with a team approach to care for our individuals.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement occupational, recreational, social and other developmental plans for individuals.
• Ensure internal/external facilities are maintained to present Devereux as a good neighbor.
• Oversee staff including hiring, performance, attendance, payroll accuracy and training.
• Ensure all shifts within the program are adequately covered.
• Supervise planning, implementation, and documentation of programs meeting needs.
• Plan and participate in group outings for individuals.
• Manage shopping for home necessities (food, clothing, items).
• Schedule and transport individuals to doctor appointments, shopping trips and day programs.
