Job summary

Sitka Counseling is seeking a Behavioral Health Program Manager (PM) for the Child and Family Services area. The PM will apply clinical and supervisory skills to manage assigned mental health programs, directing care for foster children, families, adolescents, and adults through assessment and treatment planning.

The role emphasizes program development, staff supervision, clinical oversight, and compliance with state/federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral health plus professional license (LPC/LCSW/LMFT/ Psychologist).
• Minimum 2 years direct mental health counseling; 5 years preferred.
• Experience with trauma-informed care; foster/adoptive families preferred; 1+ year in therapy with children/families; 2+ years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and assess Family Center program, service delivery, and staffing needs for clinical/therapeutic services.
• Assist Clinical Director in developing policies, procedures, and standards for quality, ethical services.
• Recruit, hire, train staff; conduct performance reviews and address issues.
• Maintain a minimum clinical caseload of 8–10 clients as directed.
• Oversee clinical team and staff schedules to ensure productivity and service levels.
• Ensure compliance with SOA DBH, HIPAA, and licensing board requirements.
