Job summary

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a dedicated professional to deliver and implement behavioral health or recovery programs within a facility. You will provide patient care, coordinate activities, and support the treatment team to meet care goals.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (bachelor's preferred), plus 1+ year experience in behavioral health. Certification in specialty and CPR/de-escalation training are encouraged; commitment to patient safety is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field preferred.
• One or more years previous experience in behavioral health with population of the facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to include coordinating activities, providing companionship and assisting with basic daily needs (dressing, bathing, eating).
• Collaborate with treatment team members to assist with patient treatment and/or care goals.
• May serve as a co-lead for groups.
• Monitor the daily well-being of patients and identify need for social intervention.
• Ensure all documentation regarding the program, such as care, treatment or incidents, is completed in a clear, concise, professional and completed in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
