Acadia Healthcare in Mississippi is seeking a dedicated professional to deliver and implement behavioral health or recovery programs within a facility. You will provide patient care, coordinate activities, collaborate with the treatment team, and may co-lead groups while monitoring well-being and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, preferred bachelor’s in Human Services or related field, and 1+ year of behavioral health experience; CPR

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field preferred.
• One or more years previous experience in behavioral health with population of the facility preferred.
• Certification in specialty of program preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility.

Mansioni

• Provide patient care to include coordinating activities, providing companionship and assisting with basic daily needs (dressing, bathing, eating).
• Collaborate with treatment team members to assist with patient treatment and/or care goals.
• May serve as a co-lead for groups.
• Monitor the daily well-being of patients and identify need for social intervention.
• Ensure all documentation regarding the program, such as care, treatment or incidents, is completed in a clear, concise, professional and completed in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
