Job summary

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Health Associate V to provide direct patient care under clinical leadership in a structured, supportive setting. You will help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and support recovery.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree in a human services field, 2+ years of relevant experience, CPR and de-escalation certification, and willingness to obtain state-required first aid where applicable.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in human service or related field required.
• Two or more years’ experience as a Behavioral Health Associate required.
• CPR certification and de-escalation training required; restraint certification may be required by facility.

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional approach with patients and team members.
• Address patient concerns promptly and respectfully to support satisfaction and safety.
