Job summary

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to plan, direct, and coordinate individualized therapeutic services for patients with behavioral health needs. You will conduct psychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and participate in multidisciplinary teams to support recovery and safe discharge planning.

The role requires a Master’s in Social Work, state licensure possible, CPR certification, and experience with patient populations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university; field education/internship required.
• Two or more years of experience working with patient population preferred.
• State licensure (LMSW/LCSW/LSW) may be required by the state.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessment of patient and develop an effective treatment plan.
• Gather information via observation and interviews to inform treatment planning.
• Provide crisis intervention and support families.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
• Coordinate patient cases and discharge planning.
• Promote recovery and improve social functioning.
• Maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance.
• Acknowledge and resolve patient concerns with emphasis on safety.
