Centurion Health is seeking a Mental Health Professional at Chesapeake Detention Facility in Baltimore, MD to provide mental health case management, intake, assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning and therapy within a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed LCPC or LCSW-C in Maryland
• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field
• Completed 3,000 hours of supervised social work as LMSW and passed required exam
• Experience working in corrections preferred
• Must be CPR/BLS certified
• Ability to obtain a security clearance (drug screen and background check)

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health case management in a correctional setting
• Consult with a multi-disciplinary team on care planning
• Conduct intake, assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment planning
• Deliver individual and group therapy as part of care

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional to join our team at Chesapeake Detention Facility located in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Mental Health Professional provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.

Available shift: part time, days, 24 hours/week

Qualifications:

• Licensed LCPC or LCSW-C in Maryland
• Hold a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related field
• Completed 3,000 hours of supervised social work experience as a LMSW in two years passed a state approved required exam
• Experience working in corrections preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
