Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a Full-time Behavioral Health Licensed Professional to join our team at Patuxent Correctional Institution located in Jessup, Maryland.

The Licensed Behavioral Health Professional provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy. Hours are typically M-F, regular business hours.

Qualifications

• Licensed LCPC or LCSW-C in Maryland
• Hold a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
• Completed 3,000 hours of supervised social work experience as a LMSW in two years and passed a state-approved required exam
• Experience working in corrections preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check

Available shift: Full time, days.
