Job summary

Newport Healthcare is seeking an Operations Manager to partner with Clinical Operations to ensure smooth daily operations at the program. You will help create a safe, responsive, and healing environment for staff and patients, leading with accountability and excellence.

You will hire and supervise staff, coordinate admissions, and oversee scheduling while ensuring regulatory and safety compliance. Within 30 days you’ll become CPI Trainer and drive de-escalation training across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health operations or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of experience with adolescents/young adults in behavioral health.
• 2+ years in supervisory/managerial roles (preferred).
• CPI training and leadership ability to coach teams.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise direct care staff to support patient care.
• Collaborate in admissions to facilitate smooth transitions into care.
• Oversee daily program scheduling to ensure structured therapeutic experiences.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensing, and safety requirements.
• Mentor direct care staff; provide feedback, coaching, and training.
• Aim to become certified as a CPI Trainer within 30 days and lead CPI training across teams.
