Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• BSN degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of Behavioral Health/Psychiatric nursing experience.
• Minimum 2 years of progressive leadership experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Preferred: Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Admin, or related field.
• Preferred: Nurse Manager experience in inpatient behavioral health.
• Experience with performance improvement and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the floor with a hands-on, visible presence in Behavioral Health.
• Oversee clinical, operational and people leadership of the department.
• Support frontline staff with mentoring, coaching and real-time problem solving.
• Ensure safety, accountability, teamwork and patient care quality.
• Manage staffing, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance; participate in on-call rotation.
• Maintain leadership presence evenings, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
