Texas NeuroRehab Center in Austin, TX, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Behavioral Unit. This full-time role offers a 36-hour work week, overnight shifts, and full benefits.

The nurse will provide direct patient care, manage medications, and participate in treatment planning, with opportunities for overtime. The facility specializes in neurorehabilitation and neuropsychiatric care for youths and adults, emphasizing crisis management and safety.

Formación

• Knowledge of nursing assessment, diagnoses and interventions.
• Knowledge of milieu management.
• Ability to direct subordinates and supervise staff.
• Ability to administer medications and monitor side-effects.
• Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the implementation of medical management programs and ensure consistency.
• Provide task assignments to staff and monitor performance.
• Train and educate staff, patients, families, and others; document care.
• Work with the treatment team to maintain a therapeutic milieu.
