Job summary

Harboroaks seeks a experienced Milieu Supervisor to oversee the milieu and its staff, ensuring regulatory compliance and a safe environment for residents. You will manage day-to-day operations, provide training, and lead staffing decisions to maintain proper ratios and policies across units.

The role requires at least a Bachelor's in a human service field and five or more years in behavioral health, including supervisory experience. CPR and de-escalation training are required or provided on hire.

• Five+ years’ experience in a behavioral health environment.
• Previous supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the milieu units and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage staffing, coverage, training and policy development for milieu staff.
• Plan unit schedules and ensure staff-to-resident ratios meet requirements.
• Provide training, orientation and coaching for new and existing staff.
• Recruit, interview, hire and promote milieu staff members.
• Direct records maintenance and ensure 100% accuracy and timeliness.
• Supervise residents in crisis interventions, including de-escalation and safety.
• Lead team initiatives and cover units to maintain staffing levels.
