Job summary

The BridgeWay in Arkansas is seeking a Milieu Coordinator to lead and coordinate the assigned unit within a behavioral health setting. You will assist in interviewing applicants and support performance evaluations for MHAs, working closely with the nursing team to address corrective actions as needed.

Applicants must hold CPR and CPI certifications or obtain them within two weeks of hire, with experience caring for children, adolescents, and/or adults.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education preferred but not required.
• Experience in behavioral healthcare with adolescents preferred but not required.
• Must possess demonstrable leadership and supervisory skills.
• Current CPR and CPI certifications, or must obtain within two (2) weeks of date of hire (onsite).
• Documented experience working with children (ages 5-12), adolescents (ages 13-18), and/or adults (ages 18 plus).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the assigned unit.
• Assist in interviewing applicants.
• Support performance evaluations for MHAs.
• Address corrective actions with the charge nurse and/or nursing supervisor.
• Demonstrate empathy and maintain a least-restrictive environment for patients.
