Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, updating charts, and performing onsite lab tests. CPR certification is required, with potential phlebotomy certification within 90 days. Candidates with MA experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or related health-sciences study.
• CPR certification required or willing to certify on hire.
• Phlebotomy certification may be required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience as MA/CMA/CNA/EMT or in medical office care.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients, assist registration, scheduling, and collect health history.
• Support physicians during examinations and minor procedures.
• Administer immunizations or injections as needed.
• Process prescriptions, pharmacy callbacks, and chart updates.
• Conduct onsite lab tests (EKG, PFTs, blood glucose, pregnancy tests).
• Maintain clean, welcoming examination rooms and deliver excellent service.
