The role requires completing an MA program or related health sciences studies, active MA certification, CPR, and may include phlebotomy certification within 90 days. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program or related coursework in health sciences.
• Active Medical Assistant certification through one of AMT/NCCT/NHA/AAMA/ARMA.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain on hire.
• Phlebotomy certification may be required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, vital signs, and health history.
• Support physicians during examinations, minor procedures, and first aid.
• Assist with immunizations or injections as needed.
• Handle prescriptions, pharmacy callbacks, and chart updates.
• Conduct onsite labs including EKGs, pulmonary function, glucose, and urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, welcoming examination rooms and deliver excellent customer service.
• Occasional travel to assist other local clinics.
