Job summary

myPlace Health in Los Angeles seeks a Behavioral Health Manager to lead the Social Work department within the PACE model, guiding biopsychosocial assessments, care planning, and psychosocial support for high-risk seniors.

You will supervise social workers and mental health counselors, maintain regulatory compliance, and partner with Nursing, Therapy, Enrollment, and Center Operations to ensure integrated participant care. This role is onsite and requires CA licensure and MSW.

Qualifications

• Master of Social Work with CA license (LCSW) and CSWE accreditation.
• Minimum 5 years progressive social work experience, with 3+ in leadership.
• Experience with older adults, high-risk seniors, and complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Social Work department with clear goals, priorities, and performance standards.
• Supervise Social Workers and Mental Health Counselors; mentor teams.
• Ensure CMS, DHCS, and PACE compliance; lead audits and quality improvement.
• Maintain EMR documentation quality and coordinate cross-functional care.
