Job summary
Ascend Healthcare in Goodyear, AZ, is hiring a Behavioral Technician Intake Specialist (Hybrid) to engage patients at intake, assist with care planning, and coordinate across behavioral health, substance use, and medical services. You will work with a multidisciplinary team in person and remotely to connect patients to appropriate care levels.

Qualifications
- Degree in a behavioral health related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum three years in behavioral health preferred or peer support/BHT training.
- Fingerprint clearance or ability to obtain.
- Proficient with electronic medical records and insurance verification.
Responsibilities
- Lead new intakes and follow-ups within the CHC model.
- Coordinate care across psych, substance use, and medical services.
- Support scheduled and walk-in patients and document treatment plans.
- Complete psychosocial intakes and initial treatment plans as indicated.
