Job summary

Adelante Healthcare seeks a Behavioral Health Intake Specialist to lead client intakes for the Behavioral Health Program and serve as the information contact for inquiries. You will ensure timely, professional responses and a thorough intake process meeting licensing and insurance standards.

Ideal candidates have a social service background, AZ certifications or equivalent, and strong customer service plus bilingual English/Spanish abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Service field.
• Current AZ Certification as an LCSW, LPC, LISAC or PsyD preferred.
• Experience with intake processes and licensing/insurance requirements.
• Strong customer service and computer skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and client confidentiality.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake for Behavioral Health Program using required forms.
• Conduct telephonic and in-person intake assessments and referrals.
• Ensure timely responses to client and referral needs.
• Maintain documentation and required reports.
• Participate in staff meetings and timely reporting.
