Job summary

Catholic Charities Eastern Washington is seeking a Consumer Care Coordinator to ensure efficient intake, referral, placement and discharge processes for behavioral health services. The role also manages front desk operations, scheduling and calendar coordination for staff and leadership.

The ideal candidate will handle correspondence, insurance verification, billing support, and maintain accurate databases while upholding HIPAA privacy standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Office Management, or related field.
• 2–3 years of work experience; behavioral health office/billing preferred.
• Experience with EMR, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, and Zoom.
• Knowledge of HIPAA/PHI privacy and security requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for work use.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake support, referrals, and admission services for CBHS clients.
• Coordinate Medicaid and insurance enrollment, billing, and discharge requirements.
• Triage phone calls for resource referrals and clinical assignment.
• Collaborate with programs to ensure seamless service delivery and appropriate documentation.
• Maintain privacy and security procedures for all CBHS areas.
• Prepare reports and data tracking; assist with onboarding/offboarding documents.
• Refer crisis calls to clinicians or crisis services as needed.
• Assist with CQI reports and admin duties for Program Manager and VP.

Education

Associate/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field
