Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine in Willoughby, OH is seeking an Intake Coordinator with a Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field (or RN license). The role interfaces with medical staff, case managers, and administration to assess and refer patients within our behavioral health program.

Candidates should have strong communication skills, be able to prioritize tasks in a high-stress environment, and be trained in crisis intervention and CPR.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in social work, psychology, mental health or related field, or RN license.
• Two years direct clinical experience in psychiatric/mental health setting desirable.
• Trained in non-violent crisis intervention and CPR prior to independent assignment.

Responsibilities

• Handle assessment and referral activities within the facility.
• Interface with medical staff, treatment team, external case managers, and managed care organizations.
• Coordinate intake processes and documentation to ensure smooth admissions.
