Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Behavioral Health Operations Coordinator for BH Grants to oversee funding agreements from identification through close-out. You will manage reporting, budgets, and compliance while coordinating with clinical and administrative teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience in grants or contract administration, with strong attention to detail and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of related professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of federal and state funding agreements, including opportunities, compliance, submissions, reporting and close-out activities.
• Coordinate project deliverables and monitor contract performance.
• Ensure onboarding paperwork for staff and providers is complete and up-to-date.
• Track and manage contract budgets, ensuring proper fund usage and reporting.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Operations and practice admins to create workflows for registration and insurance verification.
• Perform audits on clinical encounter registration, insurance verifications, and billing processes.
• Research funding resources aligned with organizational goals and capacity.
• Support development of contract and grant proposals, budgets, and letters of commitment.
• Prepare and submit financial and narrative reports, including monthly invoicing data entry.
• Build and maintain relationships with contract holders, officers, and funding agencies.
• Develop and submit all required contract close-out reports and data entries.
