Job summary

Tampa General Behavioral Health Hospital in Tampa, FL is seeking a Business Development professional who will work with the Director to implement the hospital's growth plan. You will build and maintain relationships with referral sources and represent the hospital at community events to raise awareness and goodwill.

You will ensure admissions coordination with intake, referral office, MD and case management, and contribute to marketing events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related field preferred, combination of education and professional experience may be acceptable
• Previous experience in business development at psychiatric healthcare facility preferred
• Valid driver's license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using your own auto. Must show proof of automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Actively seeks to identify new potential referral sources.
• Assists in ensuring all admissions are well-coordinated with the hospital's intake and referral office, business office, MD and case management.
• Participates in the development and execution of marketing special events as assigned by the Director of Business Development
